FIG JAM RECIPE

  • Figs, peeled and coarsely chopped 
  • Lemon 
  • Honey 

DIRECTION: 


  1. Add figs, honey, and lemon juice into a saucepan. I prefer to use glass cookware. 
  2. Slowly bring to a boil, then lower the heat and cook until thick; stirring frequently.
  3. When the jam is thicken, pour the hot jam into steralized jars, put on cap, screw band firmly tight.
  4. Put the jars in boiling water bath to further sterilize it. 
  5. Your simple homemade jam is ready.
